1. ESL Course: Monday to Thursday 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm

2. I’m Becoming Canadian Class: Monday to Thursday 3:30 – 6:00 pm
To read more about I’m Becoming Canadian course click here. (This button expands to show this information This course is designed to aid learners in preparation for the citizenship exam. Usually the citizenship exam requires learners to be both well versed in Canadian content, in addition to being able to navigate through the exam without encountering comprehension problems. The program employs a strategy that provides accurate, to the point and important information on the skills that are needed to be able to pass the citizenship test successfully.
3. Reading Language Proficiency I. Tue, Wed, & Thurs. 6:00 – 9:00 pm

It will provide basic language information about community services in a format that will be useful to students within the reading language training. Reading language tasks in class will promote the integration of all learning skills competency, such as specific simple grammatical structure, elements of pronunciation, and vocabulary.
4. Reading Language Proficiency II. Tue, Wed, & Thurs. 6:00 – 9:00 pm

It will assist students gain the skills that are needed to improve their reading skills. Reading tasks will focus on increasing levels of learners’ reading proficiency in a variety of reading material. The focus will be on the integration of all learning skills competency, such as specific reading speed, decoding words, elements of pronunciation, and vocabulary.
5. Writing for Beginners: Monday to Thursday 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm

It will cover most of the essential elements of the language to improve learners’ writing competencies and be able to write simple and basic sentences including spelling, basic words, and personal information as well as writing simple notes, memos or letters.
**Free babysitting is offered for the afternoon ESL classes only. Spaces are limited.
**ESL classes are offered all year round.
**Volunteering opportunities are available in all our ESL classes.

5:00-8:00 PM – 3 hr/night
10:00-1:00 pm on Saturdays
