About Our Language Programs
CAFA’s English as a Second Language (ESL) Department is committed to providing ongoing language learning opportunities to support and enrich the lives of adult learners, Canadian Citizens, Landed Immigrants, Refugees, Visitors and Temporary Workers. The aim of our programs is to prepare learners for greater independence in both their personal and professional life by improving their language skills. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming learning opportunity for all types of ESL learners. Our program and courses are designed to suit the different literacy levels, ranging from beginner to higher literacy levels. These courses are designed to cover the essential elements of the language and the four learning skills, speaking, listening, reading & writing. Learners can enroll in courses based on their literacy level and type of learning they need. Our ESL courses prepare learners from pre-benchmark through CLB 4 to gain the proper foundation skills that serve their life’s situations.
